Rogers Bros

Dave and John Rogers are the original Rogers Bros (which is now a fairly large team.) They have design a really nice luge. The concept of the luge is to take two steel tubes, and suspend a pan between the tubes. This allows for a lighter luge, as the pan doesn't have to be much, as it provides no structural integrity. Thanks to the fact the both Rogers are top ranked racers, their style of board has become very popular. I understand they have a several month backlog. They also make an attempt to paint each luge a different color (or at least it appears that way.) I am trying to get a picture of every one made. If you see your board here, and I don't have your name, please let me know at chrismcb@chrismcb.com.

Another thing about the Rogers Bros boards, is that they stack well. 2913.jpg (262047 bytes)

At Barrett Junction US National Race in Oct 2001, Dave busted out with a new pegless design. This board looks like a chopped of Rogers Bros. Very sleek looking design.

These boards are designed to come apart and fit into a case.
