Subterfuge's Landluge
Tim Cayer runs a motorcycle shop. A few years ago he fell in
love with streetluge. At that time there was very little support for street
luging. Parts, boards, and other luging items were hard to come by. Tim opened
up Subterfuge at www.landluge.com. About
the same time Bama, who worked with aluminum at a sign shop created the Body
Rocket. Tim bought the Body Rocket name from Bama, made some design changes, and
started to sell the luges online.
While visiting ESPN Zone in Atlanta, I saw two of Tim's luges
hanging on a wall!

I took a few pictures, from a few different angles.
Tim has also done some innovative work on bumpers. A few years ago, he made
the first modeled bumper.

While this was a major step forward, Tim still wasn't happy, recently he
replaced the bumper and nerf bar with a strip of urethane.
This design allows for more give on the bumper as well as leaving less in front
of the feet to catch on.
Tim claims he has sold over 100 boards, yet I don't think I've ever seen one
race. Well actually I'm sure I've seen a couple race, I just didn't get
pictures. At Barrett someone brought one they bought off of Ebay!
